An augment-puzzle exotic mission aboard the BrayTech orbital platform Seraph Station, in the Pinnacle Ops, that rewards Revision Zero — the Kinetic pulse rifle that banks precision hits into a hold-reload sniper mode, now fully craftable and catalyst-upgradeable through repeat clears.
The infiltration and the operator terminals aren’t flavor — you’re breaching a Warmind’s station to keep it out of the wrong hands. Here’s the mission behind the mechanics.
In Season of the Seraph you infiltrate Seraph Station — a Golden Age BrayTech/Rasputin Warmind platform — to upload a Clovis-provided virus and secure the Warsat network against Eramis’s House of Salvation and Xivu Arath’s Hive.
Your reward suits a machine built to iterate. Revision Zero, a modular Kinetic pulse that "revises" between pulse and sniper configurations, is a weapon that adapts on demand — a fitting prize from a facility whose whole purpose was to be rebuilt and refined.
Slip past the station’s locks, run its operator functions the way a Warmind would, and walk out with a rifle that reshapes itself.
Intrinsic — Hunter’s Trace: this is a transforming weapon. It fires as a Kinetic pulse rifle whose precision hits build Targeting Data (a four-segment gauge); hold Reload to swap into an alternate scoped sniper mode that fires up to four stored high-damage rounds — its defining feature. It also fires shield-piercing rounds that stun Barrier Champions. As you climb mission completions, the intrinsic upgrades through Trace II → III → IV, adding crafting options, stats, and cosmetic tuning rather than new seeking or Stasis behavior.
Craft it: your first completion (Standard or higher) drops a Deepsight (red-border) Revision Zero with guaranteed Resonance — extract its pattern via the Deepsight interface, then craft and re-craft it at the Relic in the Enclave on Mars. Unlike most crafted guns, the intrinsic isn’t unlocked by weapon XP — each clear (any difficulty) awards the next Hunter’s Trace tier.
Catalysts: Revision Zero has four Catalyst Refits — Frenzy Refit (each rapid kill raises reload speed), Pressurized Refit (stability and accuracy rise as the magazine empties), Outlaw Refit, and 4-Timer Refit (rapid precision hits return two rounds). The four Refits come from the four-part catalyst quest “Should You Choose to Accept It”; the Director’s reward preview shows the tier it needs.
Open the Portal, go to the Pinnacle Ops node, pick Operation: Seraph’s Shield, and choose a difficulty. The mission lives in Pinnacle Ops permanently and is available any week.
Owners of the original Season of the Seraph season pass can reach those legacy drops through the Classic Collector modifier on the Pinnacle Ops version.
A breach into a station full of Deep Stone Crypt augment puzzles, ending on an immune-gated Scorn boss. Read every puzzle before you commit — deaths restart sections.
A Scorn-revived version of Praksis, the Technocrat — the Fallen House of Salvation boss from the Beyond Light campaign on Europa — now wielding Stasis abilities.
He goes immune at roughly a third of his health. Grab the Suppressor buff from the Splicer/Vandal on the catwalks, stand under each of the three shield drones while shooting Praksis to reveal them, and destroy all three to reopen the damage window. Repeat the cycle until he dies, then upload the virus.
The Scanner / Operator / Suppressor roles are reused Clovis-Bray protocols — the same augment system as the Deep Stone Crypt — so the station responds only to authorized operator functions, which is why the Scanner has to read the safe thermal path before its buff lapses. Praksis is a Scorn-revived House of Salvation Technocrat leaning on borrowed Stasis; suppressing under each drone strips that stolen shielding away.
Revision Zero is a Kinetic-frame exotic, so pair it with the artifact that feeds a Kinetic-weapon economy and backs up the pulse. The Artifact 2.0 layer accelerates the build — it doesn’t gate it.
Why: its Kinetic-weapon economy — Kinetic Synthesis and Kinetic Siphons — slots directly into Revision Zero’s Kinetic frame, keeping ammo and Orbs flowing while you cycle pulse-to-sniper damage. The natural fit for a Kinetic-primary loadout in Seraph’s Shield.
Alternative: NPA Repulsion Regulator — weapon-mod discounts and ability economy back up the pulse, freeing energy for the rest of your build during the augment-heavy stretches.
