Monument of Triumph retired the old Exotic Mission rotator and the Legends node and folded them into Pinnacle Ops — one of the four Vanguard Ops nodes in the Director. It is the home of Destiny 2's Exotic Missions, each launchable at a difficulty you choose, each rewarding an Exotic weapon — nearly all craftable: first clear hands you a Deepsight copy to unlock the pattern, and repeat clears feed catalysts and intrinsic upgrades. The one exception is the secret Oblation chain, whose Cull's Shadow is a fixed-roll Exotic upgraded by catalysts instead. This hub explains the loop and links a walkthrough for every mission.
Open the Director, select Vanguard Ops, and choose the Pinnacle tab. Pick a mission, set the difficulty, and launch — these run longer than Fireteam Ops and scale all the way to the top challenge tiers.
Your first completion awards an Exotic Deepsight version of the mission's weapon. Extract (or dismantle) it to unlock the weapon's craftable pattern at the Enclave.
Each further completion awards an intrinsic crafting upgrade you can slot when you craft the weapon — higher difficulty unlocks more options.
Catalysts come from each mission’s own catalyst steps, usually on a higher difficulty; the page for each mission names them. They are the final piece that makes the crafted Exotic sing.
Each card names the mission, its Exotic reward and element, and where it's set — then links to a full walkthrough. Listed roughly newest-first; every reward is craftable through the Deepsight loop above except Cull's Shadow (Oblation), which is fixed-roll.
An exotic is only as good as the loadout around it. These pages turn a fresh craft into a working build.
Where each exotic fits — boss DPS, add-clear, or support — with the legendary god rolls to pair them with.
Crafting, enhanced perks, and the frame-intrinsic Champion coverage these missions scale up to test.
Wire your new exotic into a Super → ability → mod engine, accelerated by the Artifacts layer.
